Today was our field trip to Telus Spark. We learned about building habitats and shelter for animals. The animals we were assigned were coyote, red-winged black bird, hare, mouse and muskrat. We had supplies such as cardboard, table clothes, tarps, tubes, and pipe connectors.

Thank you to the adult volunteers for making this trip possible.

Our zoo field trip is coming up on November 6th. Please have the students forms in ASAP.  It would be great to get one more volunteer for this trip.

We have another field trip on November 19th to Arts Common. We will need 5 volunteers for this trip. Please contact me if you have your security clearance and if you are available.

Maple Ridge school is celebrating Halloween on Thursday this week. The students may wear their costumes. We ask for no masks or weapons. If you are able to send in some healthy snacks for our afternoon, please let me know. No candy for snack time, thank you.
