Dear parents,

Today we learned more about photography with Ms. Sarah in the ilab. We had to use the elements of photography that we have been learning and use them to take a picture of our stuffies. 

We will be using our stuffies again tomorrow.

We learned more about goods in Social Studies. We learned about goods in Saskatoon. 

In writing, we learned about how to write a good beginning that will make a reader want to read about the story. We learned 3 techniques:

1. Action (what's the character doing?)

2. Onomatopoeia (Sound)

3. Dialogue (what's the character saying)

The students in room 1 had a table group change. Ask you child their new table group name!

Maple Ridge school is having a Family Movie Night on March 12th. The students are getting a notice home today. Look for it in their back packs.
