Today we learned why we wear a poppy at Remembrance Day. Mrs. Howard showed us a video and read a story about why we wear a poppy. It is so we can remember those who died in the war or served in the war. Please look at the wreath we made!

We had a practice lockdown this morning. It went very smoothly.

In writing we learned about giving peer feedback. Peer feedback is when you tell a partner what they are doing well and what they need to work on. Ask your child what they can do really well! Next we are going to see what we have to work on.

This week we have been recording the temperature in Calgary, Iqaluit, Saskatoon and Meteghan.
Iqaluit is the coldest and Meteghan has had the warmest temperatures. We are measuring in degrees Celcius.
